Chidimma Adetshina Crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, Set to Compete on Global Stage
Chidimma Adetshina, a 23-year-old law student, has emerged as Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
She was announced the winner at the grand finale in Lagos on Saturday, August 31, after surpassing 24 other contestants.
Following a stunning display in evening gowns, the top five finalists were revealed, including Chidimma (Miss Taraba), Paula Ezendu (Miss Anambra), Edeifo Brittany (Miss Edo), Ayegbidun Peace Olamide (Miss Ondo), and Nyekachi Douglas (Miss Rivers).
Chidimma, who previously withdrew from the Miss South Africa 2024 competition due to backlash over her Nigerian heritage, found redemption by representing Taraba State in Miss Universe Nigeria.
She will now represent Nigeria at the 73rd Miss Universe competition in Mexico on November 16
